Miho Shimizu and Øyvind Renberg, born in 1976 in Tokyo and Oslo, began collaborating after graduating from Goldsmiths College, London, in the early 2000s, initially as part of the Danger Museum collective. Based in Tokyo and Berlin, their work spans paintings, murals, collages, sculptures, and films, creating a visually eclectic universe. Geographic and cultural distance informs many projects, often developed through travel. Their sculptures and textiles frequently appear as intricate costumes and set pieces in films, shaping plots and choreography that explore rhythm, movement, and color.
